Removing 993tt Intercooler

Following on from the topic of engine cleaning has anyone every taken the intercooler of their car. How easy is it to do this?

Very easy to do <10 minutes. Make sure you buy some new IC/intake sealing O rings (3) before you start. Also ensure you clean and dry with carb cleaner or something similar the IC hoses before re-connecting otherwise they'll leak or pop off!
