Cayenne central locking issues

Hi im wondering if anyone can help me here...

2003 Cayenne turbo, wont open from the remote, changed batteries...no luck

The car will lock all the doors with the key, but will only open the drivers door.

Also when you open the drivers door, the display that shows miles etc should light up and it doesnt. Both keys obviousley start the car no problem.

When you lock the car it put the alarm on, and when you open it it doesnt turn the alarm off. Sometime you get a very faint sound of an alarm going off, or sometimes just clicks...like a flat battery.

i read somewhere this could be down to the battery, so went off to halfords and bought a new one, fitted it and no different! My cayenne has 2 batteries, one under teh seat and the 'AUX' battery under the sub in the boot.

Car starts first time every time

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi two of my customers had the same fault,I had to reprogramme the keys as a first option,ended up replacing both remote keys,and also if you open car with the key it will only unlock drivers door.

Mines is as above, anyone got a magic sequence of buttons to fix this

Yes, now that I have changed battery on the key fob,
Sequence of what happened:
Remote just stopped working but would open via key turn and started car ok,
Changed battery but no joy still not working
Done all the put in position 1 for 10 seconds, press button ect, still no joy
Week later found spare key and tried that, not working either
Open car with spare and drive to work, park car up & habit make me press remote fob, hey it works
Get home and try first key, it now works as well.

Looks like it lost a connection somewhere until a second source was introduced, all fixed now but strange.

Hope this helps anyone else with the problem, if only my phantom airbag warning light would go away now
