Considering buying 996 facelift convertible have £50k to spend. Any advice on which model to go for?, should i wait until September for new model to come out? etc etc

997 cabrio won't be out for a while...waiting 'till sep may see a small cost saving on secondhand though...market will see lots of 996's being traded in...and of course summer will be over and you'll be taking delivery of a soft top just in time for winter...ummmmm buy one now!
