Apparently there are other pics of a red car looking very similar/identical.

Agreed about the engine format - ultimately I would assume it's just a guess at this stage, but who knows? Are Porsche finally going to give the BoxsterS more ponies than the base-level 911?

I've said it before in the other thread - it's the 550 Spyder NOT the new Boxster.

Also according to Inside Line the forthcoming base model under the Boxster will have a 1.5 litre Turbo charged engine.
