Parrot Asteroid in a 996.2?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether a Parrot Asteroid (http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-free-car-kits/parrot-asteroid) would work ok with a 2001 facelift 996?
I've just got a single CD player in it at the moment (though it seems to have leads for a multichanger available in the boot), and I don't have Bose - just a bog standard single CD.
I know nothing about CD players, other that I want one that lets me play my digital music, so any guidance would be appreciated

Do let us know how you get on with this unit. I have called a number of car audio dealers around London to see if anyone has a demo unit I can test to see if it works with Spotify Premium on an iPhone but no one has opened the packet to one.I've just got a single CD player in it at the moment (though it seems to have leads for a multichanger available in the boot), and I don't have Bose - just a bog standard single CD.

Under no circumstances buy from Auto Audio. By all means view it, but they quoted me £290 plus fitting whereas you can buy them online for £220.
I went to http://www.nsjaudio.co.uk/ who do Clarkson and Hammond's cars (which you'll see in their gallery page) and they are doing the Asteroid for £220. By the time I got it installed into my Porsche 944 it came out cheaper than Auto Audio where charging just for the unit! NSJ Audio also has it on display
Its by far THE best car stereo ever. All Kenwoods, Alpines etc are tacky and ugly looking. This is lovely and so intuitive to use.
