My dash lights have started to flicker, will it be battery or the alternator ? Cheers :-)

Alternator at a guess.

That's what happened to mine.

Porsche OPC part was £850 plus VAT WTF!

Eurocar Parts £295 Plus vat

Repaired with 1yrs warranty £159.

Good luck

Started to flicker again, gonna take a punt and buy a new battery (good deals at eurocarparts at the mo) it states in the manual that the seat retaining bolts must be replaced! Anyone have experience of this?

Mine is a V8S. Take off cover on front of passenger seat base, remove 2 small plastic covers on floor near seat base. Move seat forward, seat back upright. Undo 2 seat retaining bolts on floor , whole seat and base tilts back allowing acres to battery. Take off battery box lid and undo battery clamps. Remove battery breather pipe. Wait 1/2 hour for memory in electrics to drain out and then pop new battery in and replace. Easy peasy job.
Mine showed air suspenion fault afterwards which disappeared within 500 yds of driving the car.
Do torque the seat retaining bolts properly, as for replacing them, upto you but they are big bolts. Thread in car is more likely to strip than on the bolt .
Changed my battery Friday .

Nooooo, wait. When do they flicker ? If it was the battery a multitude of other stuff would fail before the lights surely.

Could be multitude of things inclding a new light control board. Start by removing them and cleaning the contacts then tightening the plastic platforms they sit on (two 10mm screws at the front) then replace making sure they click in properly.
