What are peoples views on GT Silver, I have never been a fan of silver cars in general, however this car is floating my boat: -

Is silver a sort after colour or a left on the shelf colour on a GT3?

You can hardly see the colour for the inside so it'll be OK I guess.

No problem with re-sale at all very sought after!

I have a GT silver 997tt.1 and people always compliment it too and it is very easy colour to look after!

Not my fave, but its the best silver. A friend had a 997GT3.1 in GT and it was stunning.

I have a 987S in GT Silver and actually have mixed feelings about the colour. When wet it looks fantastic - really 'metally' look to it. But in some slight the slightly mauve hue looks a bit odd to me. On any day I prefer it to Arctic Silver (too flat in my opinion) but I think the new Platinum Silver looks great (particularly with the Porsche Design kit).

GT Silver looks beautiful. Even better if you can get a Cocoa interior, I reckon. That GT3 looks fantastic, as did GT3ZZZ's at Silverstone.

My wife's Boxster was GT Silver.

It a colour that reflects the weather. When it's sunny, it looks vibrant and lively. When it's miserable, it looks like a very uninspiring and boring grey.

Neither of us would choose that colour again, but as others have said it's generally well sought after.

I was originally going to get a 997 in GT Silver, but changed my mind in the end as it is heavily affected by light. Went for meteor in the end, which looks great 100% of the time.
