Hi all

Im replacing the injectors on my 928 S4 - ive fitted the O rings into the engine block - should the injectors now be pushed firmly into this or are they held in place by the fuel rail - they dont seem to want to be pushed in

Cheers

Chris

The o-rings (did you make sure they were correct size for S4?) are worked onto injectors first at firing end. Injectors should then be attached to fuel rail using the locking clips, and then each compete fuel rail/injector assembly pushed into the block

Hi

Thanks any idea what size the o-rings should be for a '89 S4 - the injectors were supplied with 16.5mm

Those are correct size for S4. They are much chubbier than the o-rings which normally come with the Ford injectors.

I bought set of Ford Motorsport injectors from another supplier in the US (don't think it was Five-O, it was at least 3 years ago) for my S4 and they were excellent. Around $150 for set of 8 at the time which is brilliant.
