Instead of F

What a total mess .... The install of my old custom caterham would put this to shame !

Those Italians just seem to think that its ok to site and locate anything to anywhere .. Just wherevers convenient at the time !

Shame because the Strad is definitely on the wishlist

What's that having done Jackal!?

My mate has just dropped the box out of his 360 spider to do the clutch and it looked nothing like that.
That is particularly messy!

Doesn't put me off them though, at all. smile

Wow even my old Esprit Turbo was neater than that and they aren't noted for their attention to detail.

Got to be a mickey take!!!! You can see both heads are off it so all joining wires etc would have to be taken off their location points!!!

It does me bit i have to say, mainly because i like to wok on my cars and the knowledge of what underneath influences my overall percption and feeling i have for a car.

I would love to see a 430 underneath. It was the first F that ive driven that didnt feel like a very expensive kit car. Ive been told though that the 599 is on a totally different level in terms of the build quality and construction.

Isn't that mess just where wires, pipes etc have been disconnected and pulled aside to get the heads off? So more a function of the person doing that work than the quality of Ferrari's design?

I would imagine any engine bay is going to look like that with two heads stripped off and cables/hoses pushed to the one side?

Hi, the cylinder heads are still on, its only the cam covers that have been removed. There is quite alot of things removed there as you would normally not see anything untoward on a ferrari engine. I used to work for them frown

Look at the front corners though and the way piping and wiring runs down the chassis rails. Looks like a dogs dinner to me.

At least you can see the bits - try locating of getting to the parts you want in a Jap car. Need to change a bulb? Oh you have to take the bumper off first sir. Nightmare of epic proportions.

Cam covers still on here, still looks a total dogs dinner to me. Look at the corners and then all the gubbins which normally sits under the intakes presumably clipped to the crossmember
