997 C4S wheels on a 997 C2S

different offsets. the C4S is wider at the back so the rear wheels will stick out when put on a narrow body C2S.
the fronts might be ok though.
Not necessarily...the fronts might be ok though.
A 997 C2S can run 295 or 305 Tyres on the rears... Fronts are the same.
The ET number (offset maybe a little different) .... so depending on the offset
the actual wheel and tyre width can be the same as the C4S....
You then have the option of the 5mm spacers into the mix......

Is this supposed to confuse the OP more?A 997 C2S can run 295 or 305 Tyres on the rears... Fronts are the same.

Please follow the 911uk link on my earlier post and it should become clear. The different offsets will mean that the c4s rear wheels will be 16mm further towards the wheelarch, 5mm spacers will make this 21mm.

(except carrera sport and sport classic wheels, however even in the case of these wheels you will have the same offset issue).
Next, enter these details into a wheel offset calculator and it will tell you what the new clearances will be (and also give you more information about what this wheel offset lark is all about).

The fronts are fine (after all the front of the c2s and c4s are effectively the same).
The rears will be 16mm further towards the wheelarch - ie the same as fitting 16mm spacers to your existing wheels.
The tyre size is less relevant (assuming you fit 295 or 305) than the rim width, although a 305 fitted to a rim that is 16mm closer to the wheelarch might be pushing it even more.
