Just had an email to say 991 is on display at the local OPC, might take a trip next week for a nosey and escape the rabble at home for an hour.

Liked this too, http://www.porsche.com/microsite/build911/index.ht... build your own perfect 911 and they'll pick one and build it, then invite you along on a half days driving experience in the car you built - sadly they're not giving the car away but still fun !

Edited because I can't spell !

Done!

Shame you can't build your perfect S, they don't let you choose the really cool options on the basic 991. frown

Edit found the better options now. smile

£105,500.

Forty grand's worth of options. Which seems rather a lot.

Tried it. Couldn't find the following options;

1. Roll cage fittment
2. Trim and rear seat deletion
3. Single mass flywheel
4. Lightweight panels
5. 4 way adjustable passive damping

Odd as every other option known to man seemed to be availiable.

Oh well, I live in hope...

laugh

There's also no option to cut half a foot out of the length and width, and move the engine further back. Bah humbug.
