Hi Guys,

Last night a chap went into the back of me whilst car was parked outside parents house. I heard the prang and stuck my head out of the window. Lucky the chap did not drive off and today he has accepted responsibility.

Now I am insured with MWA, will the process be painless?

Cheers

Sunil

Yes, should be, likeliehood is if you call the other guys insurers they will actually take care of the complete claim without you needing to do a thing, its cheaper for them and they will likely ley you choose the repair centre, far less hassle but only works if the other person has caled them and admitted liability.

Hi,

Actually called MWA, they use Maner Car Hire - who appear pretty decent. The other chap has already called his insurance company and admitted liability. Which was very nice of him. He was a mature chap, feel a bit sorry for him as he's only 3rd party fire and theft.

Anyways, they will be replacing my turbo with a C2S

Cheers

Similar incident 6 weeks ago. MWA and Aviva the underwriter sorted as painlessly as it could be I guess, car went to Chartwell in Derby and they did a great job.

Make sure that your car goes to a Porsche approved body shop or at least one that you have been recommended to..
If the third partys insurance take it away the repair will end up looking like a dogs dinner.
They work to a price and not a standard, I know what im talking about as i own 2 Bodyshop in south london & have customer returning to me to put other Bodyshops work right,
Hope all goes smooth take the loan car but what eber you do dont use their bodyshop schemes.
