Cant remember its name but the road from stuttgart going south to bodensee has an amazing stretch.Did 180 mph there in a twin turbo 928 koenig.Ran out of courage rather than road.

Would prefer a three lane stretch as last year on a two lane section i had a car pull out from behind a lorry when i was doing around 165mph and my passenger nearly passed out with fear!

I have had the pleasure of this one a few times , its a belter

I saw about 310 near Wittlich just north of the A48. Almost any Autobahn will do for a TT as you reach top speed rather quickly from cruising. The car handles the bumps and slight curves quite well at that speed.
Try to find a stretch without trucks or heavy traffic in the right lane as the closing speeds are rather impressive.

Does anyone know some really good autbahns in Germany as im despirate to get my 996tt X50 maxed out. I was out there last year but ended up on some really poor roads and could only manage a top speed of 176mph.Thanks
All the way out to cabbageland to see a miserable 176! come on thats only thats a reasonably nippy coming home from work speed in the UK for many 993/996T drivers/owners, I mean its not like you are near flat out or anything, I mean now doing that that would just be silly, no no thats best saved for an early am hoon
You can't own a racehorse & only let it trot 'eh

The 4 lane autobahn between Bonn and Koln is brilliant as it is well lit, has some corners and the surface is smooth as anything. Last time I was there, a little impromptu race between a 996 4S, a Supra and yours trully in the 928 was held, with the 928 coming off the speedo at I guess indicated > 280km/h
