I didn't realize the Pan was selling so well! Sounds like Porsche is struggling to meet demand...

"At the moment, the big hatchback is Porsche’s second biggest-selling model after being overtaken by the Cayenne SUV which, in recent months, accounted for over 50 per cent of all Porsche sales. Porsche’s overall sales are also booming, with year-on-year sales to November up by nearly 25 per cent.

Reports say that Porsche will soon add a third shift at the Leipzig plant that builds the Panamera and Cayenne in order to meet the booming demand"

I always call them ugly too when viewing pics etc, but whenever I see one in the metal (there's a stunning black one near me) I really like them.

Way out of my budget for a daily car though, plus I'm allergic to depreciation and my beard would clash with a one. wink

When they get down to Merc CLS money, say £15-£20k I'd be interested. Merc CLSs are another car I used to dislike in pictures, but I love them in the metal.

I've had a Panamera Diesel on loan for the past few days. Have to say they are great to drive and you don't half get loads of looks wherever you go as it still looks very unusual on the roads. As for styling, weird but I really like it. Perhaps I'm just blinded by the Porsche brand. The front does look quite impressive and the interior is sublime.

I have to admit i've grown to like them. Supposed to be a great drive too. It's just at that price i think there are sexier alternatives. Maserati Granturismo being one.

I thought of trading in the c63 for a Panemera S after a loaner for a wkn......

Slower but bigger and I thought cooler. But if it was my only car, I think i'd keep the c63......lol

The missus felt it was a barge though and too big as a daily driver. Mind, she is in love with her tenorite grey c63.

oh and I love having sat nav as one of the dials...

definitely looks like an improvement

I'm also in the 'weird & ugly therefore interesting and attractive' camp. Will look at one seriously when they come down to buttons. That said, can't see me ever going for one as long as the Cayenne exists.
