one of my heat exchangers and tail pipes (other side!) are basically dead. What is current thinking on exhausts for 993, still RSR systems? I read some older posts on this but wondered if anyone had any recent experiences.

Cheers

Better off in Porsche section.

Also 911uk has a good 993 section. Currently discussing exhausts.

I am running standard exhaust with hayward and scott bypass welded.
Also running sans-cats...

LOUD. But very nice.

Sounds a bit harley-davidson-ish. Except 3x as loud (well there are 3x as many cylinders). Think TVR loud.

I am thinking of buying 100 cell cats which should take the sound a little down.

It is not bothering at all inside the car though as the 993 c2s is very well noise-insulated. It is more to be on the friendly side whn comes MOT time.

Happy new year Eric, hope all is well.

To the OP re exhausts, I have RSRs and they sound great. Am tempted to fit x-pipes and sports cats, will be one of my mods between now and the summer.
