A mate with a 2002 996 C2 with post-facelift 'fried egg lenses' which are badly scratched and a bit off colour is looking to get them cleaned up or replaced without the expense of buying brand new ones. Does anyone have any recommendations pls?
Thanks.

Try Plexus Plastic Cleaner - its a Protectant & Polish - used this on my Cayenne interior plastic surrounding the shifter and it has returned the plastic to its former glory. Alternatively use Xerapol Plastic scratch removal. Both products are recommended for exterior plastics as per your OP.

Both are available on Amazon cheaply.

if they are really bad try 2000 grit et and dry paper, wet with a mild soapy water then dry and buff with plastic polish with a mop or by hand if you dont have a mop - it'll take a while by hand tho!
