Gone for a blast

Well we're paying the price this year for last year's summer.
So took advantage that despite a bad start to the day the weather has picked up and went for a blast.
Top down, on we went
As the car has now gone over 1600 miles, I decided to push the revs a bit
1st gear engaged from standstill....1000rpm....2000....3000....4000....5000.......5500.......6000.....6500......6700....I chicken out after that
. Not used to go that high up on the rev limiter.
2sd gear.....up again....up to 6700rpm
Oh what a car, what an engine, what a sound.....suddently life makes sense
now back on the puter and trying to bring new friends back together.....but that's an other story!

Morning everyone,
Your run in the car sounded good yesterday.
We had sunshine for the run that I did, but got back to Dunfemrline to miserable wet weather. Didn't dampen the spirits though (gin and tonics in the house where it was dry 
) and we had a BBQ in the garage later on! 
This morning I don't feel all that good ( must have been something I ate
) so a nice lazy day is called for. 
Hope that everyone else had a good weekend?

The sun is shining this morning, so I'm off out in a bit to wash the cars, and hoover them too. It's been miserable weather up here for days now.
