nearly as bad as the cars depreciation according to recent threads. I've called a few of these and every time the first thing I've done is ask the seller for a normal number to call them on - no-one minds at all, the main reason for the Telesafe number is for sellers to avoid marketing calls from other people selling advertising (but also the number is turned off once the ad period paid for expires, so potential buyers can't call old ads).

Afternoon Craig,yep I have but it'll be off the road for a good part of this year for a respray, etc so I'm looking for a 964 C2 manual for regular summer use and one or two trackdays a month. I'd like one with track mods done but my budget won't really stretch yet.
Getting impatient though and keep looking at 968CSs (but I think I'd get bored of the sound) and also 996 C4Ss (but that would rule out trackdays and I don't trust the motors in them). Ho hum.
Will you be back in some Pork soon or is that it until after the wedding?

Just don't get the whole engine note thing on the 968, get a good exhaust & air filter & it'll be fine-especially when you're passing all those more exotic cars on track!

Know what you mean about CS noise but a 964 will keep me occupied when I'm just pottering to work, due to the sound amongst other things. Not sure a 968 would and given how slow the market seems to be for them at the moment, I don't want to find the above out and have to move the car on.
Having said that I know every other aspect of the car suits my needs, eg rarish, special, useable, track focussed etc.
UV off here has his red one in the classifieds and I keep getting drawn to that. Exactly the type of car and previous owner pampering I buy into.
I'll give the 964 idea until April/May then re-evalute if I haven't found one.
I've been badgering someone off here about theirs but he might not part with it. Eh Baf!
