How many Spyders/CaymanR's with Ceramic brakes in UK?
Discussion
Does anyone have access to this kind of information?
I fear my chance to buy a purist version of either has passed me by now production has stopped (not that I wanted to buy brand new).
I had a Spyder with ceramics for a 24 hour test and they were incredible, and I'm told they are 50% lighter and the discs will last the life of the car; unfortunately I suspect there might be only a handful in the UK which makes buying one next to impossible

Phucker - it's the only car I've seen recently that has me wondering if I'm doing the right thing with this GT3 lark. Mind you, I haven't driven mine for a couple of months, so perhaps I need a wee refresher to have me seeing clearly again instead of selling it on for something else. There's a lot to learn with this one...

Looks amazing Phucker, what's the rest of the spec and are you looking to sell any time soon
I'd love a Spyder or Cayman R with ceramics, the 24 hour test I had with them was amazing, the stopping power is outstanding.
Does everyone rate these brakes?
He was looking to sell it before he even bought it.

Cheers for the comments chaps
Spec is PCM3, PCCB's, Bluetooth, Bucket's, NO air con, VTS... and a few other bits i can't remember.
I would of sold it the other week to buy a nicely specced C63 i'd found, but since that car sold (priced cheap) i haven't really given it much thought tbh
eta - re ceramics, i rate them highly. Had two Porsches with the PCCB's now and very happy to pay a premium for them. Admittedly at first, i was worried re longevity of them, but after hearing stories of people getting nearly 200,000 miles from a set of discs, and the fact that my local OPC has never even replaced a disc!, i feel 100% comfortable and confident in running them. Expensive from new, but used... a bargain!

Did Porsche organise the full black wheels for you, or did you have them done elsewhere? I realise there is the option, but it includes a silver edge and silver inside which I'm not keen on!
Part of the deal was for Leicester to paint the rims (full) in satin-black. Saw the car with silver rims first, which did look nice tbh, but fancied the 'stealth' look
From the factory the cost (from memory) is approx £900!

There's certainly not many Arctic 'silver' Spyders
in fact, i don't think ive seen another one for sale since mine!
Apologies, suspect the one I tried was Platinum Silver, not Arctic.

At least now I know that it has to be either a Spyder or CaymanR in white with silver alloys, or silver with black alloys!
