I know I'm brave posting here but I'm chuffed with the look of the car now so am prepared to be flamed smile

I bought the car last year in standard guise as per below

Since then I've changed the front lights to HIDs, the rears to LEDs, had the exhaust bypass done and finally coloured the wheels.

and I mis-spelled Upgrade in the title !!

Happy now smile

It's gay 996 fetish talk. Goes on a lot between water cooled 996 owners. So i'm told anyway.eek

Spelling updated.... Wait til you lot get over 40 and your fingers are fat and your eyesight is failing smile

Everything (bar the exhaust bypass mod) is reversible so I can return it to 'stock' if and when I want to.

"Keepitlit" what's an SSK ?

I like it, good for you - make it how you want it!!

I've never been one for tango lights on anything esp, the early 911/boxster lights which look horrible with that orange stripe.

Looks nice.
Previous owner should be shot for the parking sensors - they are awful.
Pick a badge - Carrera or 911 - not both.

I agree with you both about the parking sensors. When I was looking to change my 996 I tried to steer clear of cars with them fitted. They just spoil the nice clean lines don't they!

I just couldn't bring myself to buy a car with parking sensors (Or lady parkbiggrin).

When I see them, I just think 'can't drive'.

Is it just me or do the orange lights really suit an early black 996.... Thought they used to look awful but it has a nice look to it now.
