They are teasing it (the exhaust note), its drowned out by music on all the other videos. Been through all the videos and this one has the exhaust over-run captured about 3/4 of the way through.

Gutted, at the moment, and I really don't want to be, because I could see myself buying one. Let's leave the weird rear spoiler for now, what were they thinking with the front, for me it's lost the family brand look, it could be a new MX5. The front lights are wrong and the sharp edges where they meet the bonnet is wrong. I was so hoping for the lovely job they've made of the 991.

Just really hoping it looks better in real life. Just my opinion.

I should add to be fair, sides are Really nice and the interior looks stunning....... Time will tell.

Ok, the sound samples of the note are now available on the German configurator (click the sports zaust option on the configurator) will check the UK one later.

The over-run on the 2.7 model with PSE is pretty awesome and is very similar to the 991 with PSE.

I am now excited.

There is no sports exhaust option available on the UK version yet.

it's showing on the UK dealer price list, so will be available quite soon.

ask them to show you the dealer only internal 981 product launch briefing .. the options pricing at the back ..

PSE is £1473.

All dealers would have been sent the internal Product Launch Briefing from GB / Germany, so they are prepped to speak with customers about the 981 and the options available. This is the document SFO is referring to.

OK my dealer has now spoken with Porshce GB. They seem to be expecting sports exhaust option to be available from June build slots so cannot include in a spec now.

Just take care with the insurance if you have it fitted post delivery.

Post your spec too, what colour did you go for?

I haven't done the spec yet Carl. I am waiting in the hope of being able to include the sports exhaust. If it doesn't reach the options list soon I may well cancel the order and look elsewhere.
