Well, I was waiting for Jackal to finish doing this for ages, but in the end I got impatient and ordered the pipes anyway and had them fitted in November, when a service and some other stuff was being done at Unit 11 just before an Oulton Park trackday.
I have to say I think mine (C2 Varioram) sounds a bit better (standard silencers also) in that the sound is a bit less harsh and smoother - could be the video sound, could be differences in the cars (they are 15 years old after all) but either way I'm very pleased with them, it looks like the MOT emissions test will be OK (when I was having the winter tyres fitted I got a quick test done when not properly warm - it didn't pass but wasn't far off) and no warning lights on the dash.
The noise police at Oulton were a different matter - it was a little over but they let it through but said they'd be keeping an ear out for it. I short-shifted on the pit straight to begin with but later on let rip - I didn't get in trouble and someone posted in the track day forum about how good it sounded along there.
It certainly seems like a very good value (£199+VAT for the pipes) upgrade - I assume Jackal would agree? The next job for mine is to cut some holes in the airbox to enhance the induction sound, and maybe a visit to Chipwizards.

You want smoke !
Here is the car with the RSRs as well .... Just bonkers, if you could hear it for real, louder than a superbike

Fantastic!
To answer the OP, fortunately keyfobs seem to be holding their value well. Porsche dealers also seem reluctant to offer any kind of discount on them, even when paying in cash. If you own a keyfob make sure you check the battery periodically as there is a known factory defect where the battery eventually runs out of juice leading to an expensive rebuild.
