Sort of thinking of buying an 'entry' level 996, budget is up to £15 large advertised price.

A lot of the cars in my price range have GT3 aero kits. My question is does having the GT3 rear spoiler mean the normal 'up and down' type spoiler has been removed and replaced by a different panel or will it still be fitted but deactivated?

Reason for asking is I prefer the look of the standard car unless the car in question is of course a GT3.

Hi,

Yes the rear lid has been replaced with an aero kit version. To get it back to standard it will need a replacement rear lid.

You could always pick one up for around £350 used on e-bay

Thanks. I assume it is also worth asking the vendor if they kept the original lid, I know I have loads of spare bits for cars I no longer own!

Hi, it could of been a factory order or could of been fitted at new from a dealer...

Worth asking but doubtful.

Good luck in your search.
