996 (c4) speedo optimism

Just thought you may want to know: I got an Origin B2 installed at the weekend which shows actual speed.

The 996 C4 spedo over reads by about 4mph until 40mph. At 40-70 it over reads by about 4-6mph, and by 6-7mph at 100mph.

Basically the error % seems to fall as speed increases.

At Brunters my 996 speedo showed 196 as the lasers showed 192. Quite pleased with that. Haven't looked at the variance at lower speeds though.

The digi dash probably works out actual speed and just adds four onto the result. There will be small 4-7mph discrepancies because of small changes to rolling radius of the tyre due to pressure, wear etc.
