I've worn out my rear R888's so I need to replace them. There seems to be a supply issue with these so I could have to get a full set of something else.

What are the alternatives and where can you source them from? Sizes are 295/30/18 and 225/40/18. TIA.

I have not had any experience with them (R-888's only) but they are serious track day rubber

048's are a good alternative to 888's and some consider them better for track day use as they tend to not overheat so quickly. Getting them up to temperature, however, takes a bit longer than 888's.

Thanks so far. Another solution that has already been suggested is a set of the Pirelli Trofeo. Anyone used them?

Also, have I got no chance of getting 888s?

Just to update - I managed to source two rear 888 from Camskill as I think they had a delivery. The fronts have got a decent amount of life in them so it seemed a waste to bin them.

Im in a similar situation here, but I need fronts ! Seems such a waste to get another set of a differant make when my rears are nearly brand new.

They are showing same day dispatch which usually means in stock. I called them up to check and then ordered them online as they said that was easiest.
