C4S PSE question

Hi,
I am new to this forum and have been having a look around and there seems to be a lot of sound advice on here. As a result of this I was wondering if you can clear some confusion up for me.

I have just started looking around for a C4S and am probably looking at a 996. PSE is a must and I have noticed on some ads that the Sellers state the car has PSE, but going by the pics some cars have the oval tail pipes and some have the double round overlapping tailpipes.
I was wondering what the difference is ?

Pse can have either tip

As above, the tips can either be standard or optional extras - neither affect PSE, or guarantee its presence (if that makes sense).

Yeah I believe the various tailpipe ends are just cosmetic options than could have been specified independently of PSE. So it's not a way of telling visually if the car has PSE or not.

Thanks for that, wasn't sure if you could tell if PSE was present by the tailpipe. That has cleared that up for me.
