Discussion
As with a good proportion of the community, i've looked after the car myself with the regular items serviced (filters, oil etc) and additional items like plugs and (though not necessary) coolant changes.
One item that is due replacing is the belt. It's coincided with the service interval (minor). Looking at the service schedule i've actually discovered i've done what's on the list over the last 3 months....but not the belt.
I was thinking of sending it in to my local Indy once again simply for the belt change but wondered asking them to give the book the stamp on the service. I'm aware what i'm asking them to do but how have others gone about getting one item on the service schedule done, stamped and not been forced to pay (unneccesasrily) for the full service?

I do all the maintenance/servicing/'tweaking' myself, and take car to OPC once a year for the annual maintenance inspection...gives me chance to look over car and talk through any issues with techie while it's on the ramps, cup of coffee in a posh mug and a stamp in the book every year...works for me
As above, why not just do the belt yourself?

It's the 987S this time.
The belt change appears perfectly simple. Means that there is almost nothing left for the indy save for clearing the OBC reminder. I keep a separate file for all expenses so will document the work just in case. Only, no stamp (not sure whether it's bad practice tbh).
