As per subject really, am currently looking at some Gen 2 boxsters, Gen 1 997s & Aston V8's & getting a feel for prices, do OPC's discount approved used cars? I know it will prob vary a bit (I'm looking @ Guildford) but as a general rule. There are 2 Boxsters I love there, a Black Edition for £40k manual and a black 3.4 PDK @ £37k but sadly with no PSE which I am really keen on. Will they retrofit at cost to do a deal maybe?

There's no harm in asking. I would imagine that they are not going to turn down any deal at the moment that has the potential for profit making. Make them an offer and see what happens.

If you're ready to commit immediately then call them first thing in the morning with the promise of a deal they can get on the books for month-end i.e. tomorrow. If not, wait till the last week of next month. smile

Yes, you can get discounts so do ask, and I am referring to OPC Guilford specifically as well. You should aim for at least 5% off asking price.

Just been dealing with OPC Guildford today as it happens.

Seemed a pragmatic bunch of folks and keen to do a deal, rather than force me back out the door. If you're in a position to commit tomorrow, then you should be able to get a reasonably good discount I would have thought.

Tried to buy a Gen II 997 PDK at the weekend. Not a penny off a £52k car!

I spoke to them about a spyder on Saturday. Ready to commit and happy to buy as soon as they want. Only issue is that opc prices seem to start in the mid-high 30s (and I've been offered a 2011 car for low 30s by one dealer). Guildford wanted mid-40s for a jan-2011 example!
