Tyre fitting company
Discussion
Had 4 new tyres fitted at
in
and they damaged 1 of my wheels,When i went to have them fitted i asked the manager to walk round my car and check for any previous damage as i told him i am very fussy and would like my wheels in the same conditon after they fit the new tyres,He assured me that they treat there customers cars like they would there own.
While they were fitting the first 2 tyres i watched them and they did a good job, even cleaned off the white paste off the edge of the tyres so i thought i leave them to and went and sat in the waiting erea.
When they finished the job i had a quick look and did not notice any damage,But did notice they did not clean off the white paste on the next 2 tyres, I paid the bill and went home.
When i got home i got a cloth and wiped the paste off the other 2 tyres and noticed silver paint on the cloth, after closer inspection noticed they had broke the paint on the edge of the rim,I phoned them straight away and told them about the damage and took the car there for them to have a look.
Got a phone call today from there head office manager saying they have spoke to the manager at the
branch and he says that they did not damage my wheel,so they will only pay for half the cost of the repair as a good will gesture.
I asked the guy on the phone how can they denie the damage when i got them to check the wheels before changing the tyres,And there was no damage before,But he was having none of it,So i told him to stick his money and will plaster it all over the internet to let others know not to use :censored, I am so pi##ed off.
