Ahh, the film that cemented my love of 911s.

I've even got it burnt to dvd.
80's excess at its best!

Love it. smile

It is a great film for it's time. Hit the spot with everything.

Firm favourite.

Bought it on Amazon to relive my youth (growing up drooling at 911s), still drooling!

Just read the review. Sounds like the fast and the furious to me but with Porsches instead of souped-up Jap cars!

I saw this with my dad when I was a boy; I remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the end as it had good car chases! Needless to say it had a big effect on my car aspirations! Awesomeness extraordinaire...

I haven't seen it but synopsis I read said it was about a young and impressionable undercover cop that befriends a criminal and is taken in by the lifestyle and also falls in love with the chap's sister. So far, pretty much the fast and the furious. The difference is the crime in this film is stealing Porsches (like gone in 60 seconds) whereas the fast and the furious crime is about stealing cargo from moving trucks, requiring high precision driving.

Either way if the synopsis is correct the plot is much more similar to the fast and the furious rather than gone in 60 seconds IMHO. But as I said I haven't seen it, so if synopsis I read was wrong: I apologise.

Cheesy 80's flick but great all the same especially the car chase with the silver 930.

It passed me by at the time but a workmate brought it in and said it was a must see. He was right. Can't believe I didn't see it at the time.
