Hello You Lot,
Does anyone know if it's possible to lower a 996 3.4 if it's running 19 inch alloys, please? If so, would you mind telling me by how much, what springs etc?
Please?
Go on. I'm quite nice and am rarely cruel to children. Unless they really deserve it, obviously.
Thanks in advance.

Well, a 996 was designed to run on a maximum of 18" wheels so if it's on 19" and you lower it surely the wheels will rub on the arch liners, it'll tram line like a biatch and you'll look like a chav....
They're not spinners, Cap'n. They're BBS Lemans. Yknow, dead classy, like.
And the Internet appears to be literally filled with people who've also done it whilst keeping close to the original rolling radius.

Yes. Check your wheel offsets. It could hit the inner arch on full lock which is where the spacers come in.
Are they normal width fronts? What profile tyres?
New wheels are:Are they normal width fronts? What profile tyres?
Fronts 8.5J ET45 tyres 235/35/ ZR19
Rear 10J ET50 tyres 265/30/ ZR19
What does this mean- yes, Nervy ole pal go ahead, or No sorry it can't be done, but here have some crisps to cheer you up?
