I know this picture isn't a Boxster, but I really like these wheels and think they would suit the Boxster or are they a bit chavy ? They may be more appropriate on a 997 coupe with or without polished spokes.

Dread to think about the cost, but apart from that I think they'd look great!

Could look good if you keep the size sensible!

As above post, not sure that they will prove value for money and other [996/997] options may work at least as well for a lot less cash.

Saw that but my Boxster is silver and I thought the polished spokes suited the colour. Was thinking of changing to another 997, but not decided yet.

911Porsche World magazine have briefly featured the JZM 'Demo' 997 'Targa conversion' with new Fuchs wheels fitted. Looks ace I reckon.

It's a 997 Cab with an old fashioned style targa top with the wide band hoop over the top but with two lift out panels instead of one.

It is made by a company in Germany and sounds damned expensive, can't quite imagine why anyone would want one.

The company is making them for most 911 models apparently.

Ah, the Greenster. Saw that at Geneva a few years ago, it comes complete with 1970's tan check interior too. Alois Ruf based it on his own early soft-rear-screen Targa (hence the Greenster has a soft rear screen too). It's an electric vehicle and a big improvement on a Prius or milk float. smile

How do you pronounce 'Fuchs'?

Fooks, fooch?
Any other?

Always wondered, that's all.
