A colleague of mine is considering buying a 996 tt and saw one that is being sold by Strasse in Leeds and asked me what I thought of Strasse. I don't know them as they are very far from me (although they seem to have good reviews on other forums). Has anyone recent experience of them ? Are they in the same league as let say JZM in London ? I have tried to search this website but the search engine unfortunately doesn't work. Thank you.

I've always found them to be very good, especially the old bugger who could re build an engine with his eyes closed !

Ohh and they have just saved me 7500 euro on a repair to my cayenne that it didn't need.

All I know is they have a tastefully 'arty' website. Ever so slightly NSFW maybe?

Huh? Just had a look, all I found were a couple of pictures of fully clothed women. Either you don't get out much or there is a separate "members only" section of the website.

Hi

I've known STRASSE for a very very long time - Have bought Cars FROM them (Both Road & Race!) and sold cars TO them (and I'm not in the trade or affiliated to them !)

Straight forward honest no BS guys - Fair Prices / Good stock and good discount on the Parts when required.

"Treat as you find" as we say in Yorkshire and they will always look after you!

Strongly recommend!!

Strasse used to look after my C4 a few years ago, alwasy found them very honest and straightforward - proper Yorkshire as we would say!

They seem to have good quality stock, I drove by last week and had a peek at the 996TT - from a quick glance it looked a very clean car. If you want me to go and look at it for you I'd be happy to oblige as I work 5 minutes away...

They also do thorough inspections on their vehicles.

Do you have first hand experience of this or is it just what you've heard?...I can say from personal experience that it's not true.

Can't fault them bought a car from them, get them to get my parts etc, my mate has his car serviced by them.
They may not have the most prestigious premises but workshop is good & always full & busy.
Porsche knowledge is top notch and as people have said down to earth honest guys. Most of their stock is well presented and if you want anything
doing to your new steed they'll do it.
I've seen the tt looks a lot of car for the money.

Isn't it wise to get an independant inspection carried out no matter who the seller is?

I got my 996t from them. Thank god I insisted on a Porsche warranty, and there idea of immaculate is not the same as mine.
