Newbie intro & advice sought

Hi guys, first post here. I'm 31 and a lawyer in London. Currently piloting a 996 C2 having recently wrecked my first porker: a 986S.

I've tried the search function to find this out so if anyone can post a link to a previous thread I'd be grateful. I'm looking for the heater surround trim that goes on the lowest point of the centre console after fitting a double din stereo into a 996. Any ideas anyone?

Looking forward to contributing in time although I suspect I'll always have more questions than answers.

Hi and welcome. I'm not familiar with the part you're after myself, but have you already tried the Porsche parts catalogue that's available on their website?
