I keep reading about people with Boxter's that have 20" wheels, whilst these look very nice how does it affect the handling?

I know when I bought my Cayman that I read a lot about the 19" wheels looking nice on them but the handling being better with the 18's, is there any similar thing with the Boxter on 20's?

It's all about compromise and personal preference. Having driven Boxter loan cars on different sized wheels, you're cursing potholes with the larger rims, but revelling in the grip at the limit on smoother roads. It's all about the roads you have to drive on and what you want from a car. So nothing new to add to the bigger/smaller wheel debate I'm afraid.

I would never do it, max that Porsche fitted was 19" and for an engineering reason, most after market bigger wheels look tragic or chavvy or both, a la Kahn

we have turbo 2 wheels on our boxster which I think are 20" car drives and rides like a dream can't see an issue myself, it doesn't ride as compliantly as my Audi a6 on winter tyres I admit but that's the last thing I would want from a sports car.

I guess if we were doing loads of miles maybe I would notice it more?
