993 Steering Wheel

I wiil collect my 'new' 993 on Saturday (Yipeeeee!). I am thinking about changing the steering wheel. The standard 4-spoke, with air bag item is not very attractive in my opinion. What have is recommended? What have you fitted? Pictures would be much appreciated. Incidentally I realise that I would lose the air bag and wonder how to 'switch off' its warning light.

Was going to do that with mine, update to 996 wheel, preferably GT3RS with Alcantara but a basic 996 wheel with airbag 2nd hand off eBay is upwards of 500 quid!!!
Decided against it but if I can find someone local I'll get mine retrimmed in said grippy stuff for much cheapness, to buy the GT3RS one is over a grand

That's actually a 996 Turbo wheel, with leather trimmed airbag and stitching detail. Looks nice.

Yip that looks magic, just have to find someone with a broken 996 who doesn't know what they sell for!
