As above, just about to buy some replacements for my 987.1 Boxster - I can get standard Bosch wiper blades delivered for £8 from Eurocarparts but wondered if anyone uses Aero style wipers?

I know I've seen some newish 911s (i.e. less than 1 year old) with 'old' style windscreen wiper blades and an Aero style rear wiper, but don't think I've ever seen factory fit aero style windscreen wipers (i.e. front screen).

Had them all round on my 996.

Did the job. Nothing special. Really had it done for the rear wiper as was aiming to protect the rear pillar from getting big gashes in it from the wiper blade mount.

Imagine the Bosch rubber will be better. Think you can get Bosch flat wiper blades but they're quite expensive.

Sure people rave about PIAA.

I was going to get some but somebody pointed out the standard passenger blade is curved.

The aero ones aren't available with a curve.

I've no idea how much difference it would make.

I have PIAA on my Scooby, and yes I do swear by them. They last for ever and really do a great job - but they are hideously expensive.

I'd put them on my Cayman if they did not invalidate the OPC guarantee.

Thanks - will go with the cheap and cheerful Bosch replacements from Eurocarparts - it rarely ventures out in the rain anyway!
