I'm looking for a lower mileage 997c2s, budget up to £40k. I'm concentrating on OPC's as I have a c class to part exchange and for the two year warranty. Am I limiting my search?
Do reputable independents give sensible part exchanges (appreciate wooly question) and could I buy a 997 from them and retrospectively put an official Porsche warranty on the car?
The final challenge is finance as I'm looking to fund the car by way of a pcp with balloon. Anyone done similar? Appreciate any guidance.

This can only be done after 90 days of ownership unless it's a private sale and you get the current owner to do it before completing the purchase (it can be transferred immediately).

There's a chance some independents would retail your car so may be able to give you a little more for it.

If you were interested in a very low mileage 1-owner C4S that could be bought with OPC warranty applied then PM me. smile

For finance you want to try Jamie Garside (performance car finance), very helpful, great rates etc

Some specialists & Indies will sell cars supposedly on behalf of customers to protect OPC warranties as an alternative.

OPC will put ticks in all of your boxes, part ex, finance and the all important warranty.

You might pay a fraction more but its the hassle free one-stop shop way of doing your business.
