996 Wheel Wanted

My tyre guy has been asked to get a 996 wheel for a client.

"Not enough information," I said.

What does he need to ask to get an exact match, and where could he get a single new wheel?

This is the sort of question we would ask you?

Surely the wheel will have a part number on the inner face, by the valve it should have the width and ET.
At some expense the OPC should confirm availability,

Jasmine or even design911 (if you must) would be able to help match the wheel, either new or secondhand..
depending on weather it is a standard 17" or 18" option I don't think porsche fitted any more than 5 different types to 996.

Ha ha -look, my Porsche knowledge, for what it's worth, stops at the 964!!!!
