Boxster preview evening
Discussion
I used to get these invitations from BMW from time to time but never bothered going, now have an invite from the OPC where I bought my car.
What's Goes on at these bashes?
Are test drives available or is it more static displays with cheese & pineapple on cocktail sticks?
I should say that I have no intention of buying a boxster but thought it might make a nice evenings distraction.

Usually the static displays & pineapple on cocktail sticks, but they usually make a good night of it & usually have a book to take test drive bookings (the display cars are usually the 1st ones in the country & the opc's won't get theirs for another months)cragswinter said:

And Hatfield, at least, hire some lovely promo girls, one of whom I took to dinner after the Cayenne launch
ETA - and I was only there to pick my Boxster up after a service...

They do?
I always liked the look of an M3 cab anyway.
Back on topic, I don't think the launch nights are that great - at Hatfield for the Cayenne there were plenty of cars to look at, but all were swamped with punters, and you couldn't get a drive in one so I'd rather wait until the showroom has one in and pop down there then and miss out on the shampoo. And casual sex with the promo girls.
