As above really, I've always thought the wiper performance on my 996t is a bit poor, so I'm going to try some new wipers/blades; any recommendations?

Anyone gone to the areo flats from PIAA on 996 ? seems easy enough for the rear but thinking fronts and the curve

Thanks.

Just had a look at their website and there are three available for the 996 -

Super Silicon
Super Sporza
Si-Tech Flat

Which ones?

PIAA all the way, they are excellent but not cheap
Think it is super silicon IIRC.
Just remember the passenger side is the curved one. Sorry can't help with part numbers, don't have them to hand

Thanks Willie - not fussed about cheap - the wiper performance has been the only real chink in the 996t's armour, so I'm quite happy to spend a few ££ to sort it out.

According to the website:

  • Super Silicon Wipers are finished in Black satin with the PIAA logo discretely on the metal blade support.
  • Super Sporza has a lightweight UV resistant spoiler which reduces aerodynamic lift at high speeds
  • Si-Tech Flat blade is a modern frameless design that delivers all-season performance

....which all sound good - I just want the best performance!!

Sporza are the same material as Super Silicone but have a spoiler. I have two Sporzas, there's no problem with the passenger one not bring curved either.

Just thought I'd update the thread.

PIAA bought, fitted and have transformed the car.
Wiper performance is now just about excellent. What a difference.

Thanks for the advice.
