Hi all,
Looking for a Black or Atlas 997 C4s with good spec
Found a lovely one local to me but am un decided on the interior choice.. Its cocoa leather with silver belts, trims etc and actually once i saw it really liked it.. BUT, will it negatively effect resale and or is that just a wrong combo? Ready to do the deal today but keep thinking is it the right choice.. what's the view? Was an expensive option too!

Cheers

Atlas with cocoa would be my choice if I were to spec a new car - love it

+1.
Love the colour. First saw it in a Boxster Anniversary back in 2004 and it suited the car colour combo.

Sounds lovely. Why worry about resale?

Nothing wrong with that combo, it looks great.

Most peeps don't spec out the steering column in leather though, and leave it in black plastic.

Cocoa is lovely. (Was the Sport Classic's interior Cocoa?)

I don't think its in same boat as Savannah or Nephrite, which do affect resale.

+1 Cocoa lovely. Dark and not black, what's not to love?
Dont think it will hurt you when time comes to re-sell. It's lovely and should age well as it's a dark color.

I like the cocoa interior - saw it first on a cream car at LM a couple of years back and thought it looked very good.

On darker colours I think it sets it off quite well.....

Possibility of collecting Fri/Sat but a few things to get done..

Waiting this week to have major service and check everything
Williams f1 paint system done

My daily A road commute is about to get more interesting...

Thanks for all the positive comments and hope to contribute more when back into 911 ownership!

Phew :-)
I am usually decisive! this was a tough one, i think its more the justification after having a new baby in the house and moaning at the mrs for spending too much on ebay or mothercare!

You seen it in the flesh or just the site? subtly different from all the black and blacks etc.. I didnt go there for that one, was going Atlas with Black but just stood out more in the showroom and kept looking at me.. also didnt realise the 4s was much wider than 2s and boot space less of an issue than the 996 was.
Although now got to find a pushchair to fit in it!!

Hoping for the weekend, but quite a bit being done!
Cheers

Atlas is flat out THE best 911 colour and I like the idea of the cocoa interior too. I think it's a great combination. I have been eyeing up a 997 Turbo S in silver with a cocoa interior and I think it looks amazing but even the usually very flexible man-maths calculator says "no" for the moment.

GT Silver with Cocoa interior and hood here, great combination IMO and in fact was used in the publicity stuff for 997 1 . The brown is not as hard as black and brings out different flecks in the silver paint. I'd order the same colour combination if ordering a new 991 today

Look forward to the pics! Atlas was my favourite colour on the 997, and Lapis on the 996.
