Hi All,

Just put a deposit down on a cayenne diesel, 60 plate, loads of extras including adaptive cruise control, power lift tail gate, Bose, Xenons, PASM, what's that? Full black leather, MF heated steering wheel, heated seats, Camera Park assist, Tel Module, pcm navigation, privacy glass, loads of other extras, only down side is the 18" wheels ;~(

Be interested to hear of anyone that has had one for a while, do you get an average mpg above 30? is it worth going bigger on the wheels or will I spoil the ride? DMS engine upgrade??

Regards
Carlos

Around town/short trips , I get 28mpg, on a run upto 34mpg. I dive to the south of France a Lot (where im typing this) on this trip I got 31mpg over 1028 miles, average speed 78 mph.
I usually re map all my cars, but not felt the need to do it with the cayenne, just press sport and it gives you all the performance you need.
I couldnt live with small wheels, but that's a personal thing.

Hi

Had one from new (since last July)14 K Miles at present - running 21" (18" far too small aesthetically I'm afraid) - Ave 31-32 MPG - General Driving (Urban and Motorway).

Hope that helps ?

Hi,
All the diesels we see come in our workshop for recalls always are averaging 30-35mpg. There good cars with no problems as of yet. There had been a lot of software programming recalls and the headlight recall but other than that, there spot on!

20"s I would say are the best alloy size for them.
Cheers
Scott

35 mpg is a realistic average, without trying too hard.
