Hi Chaps,

What labour costs should I expect in locating and exchanging a faulty coil pack on a 2004 Cayenne 4.5s?

Thanks in advance.

Depends which one needs doing, some are easier to access than others. I did all 8 coil packs and spark plugs in about 2 hours, not being a mechanic and having never done the job before. I have the 8 old coil packs here - one of them doesn't work properly, if you fancy a bit of Russian Roulette let me know.... wink

laugh That'd be fun!

Is it really that easy a job, I hadn't even considered doing it myself really assuming I'd need specialist tools and some mechanical inclination...

Maybe thats the way to go.

If you have a spare second Goose, let me know how you went about it, and any specific tips on what to beware of when having a go meself.

Cheers thumbup

Jackal's already done just that, have a look on www.jackals-forge.com

It's pretty straightforward to just get stuck in if you go about things in a methodical way. The engine stabiliser bar and a pump on the left side as you look at it (driver's side for RHD) of the engine that need undoing.
