Rear 7.1 GT3 Pads - £340!??
Discussion
Looks like the pad shape is the same as the 997 turbo.
2nd item in this list. http://www.design911.com/Porsche/997-MKI--911--200...

Look at the price of pad wear sensors, an hour of labour and VAT - all will become depressingly clear : the price of new pads is a big spend I am afraid. I'd recommend Pagid RS29s personally but that won't save you any money over OE.

Can anyone offer a comparison between the road-oriented standard pad and Pagid RS29 and RS14s please?
If you are using the car on track at all, the Pagids last significantly longer (1.5 to twice or more as long depending upon how your preferred technique). They also have stronger initial bite and much higher thermal stability. The road pads simply don't last long at the temperatures that the braking system of the car can put through them once you have decent tyre temperature. If you were looking for road use only then the difference is not so compelling, but if doing more than 1 or 2 days per year on track, spend the money.Guys,
thanks for all that.
Its mainly a road car for me with only couple of track outings per year.
I'll give the guys are 911 Design a ring tomorrow.
It needs discs & pads, I priced the parts ONLY at Porsche and they were quoting over 900.00 ! I dont think so!
Again, thank you for the pointers, will get them done this week.
