Hello everybody from Tuscany,
I'm a happy owner of a wonderful Boxster 987 since August 2007. I have an annoying little problem with my car that neither the Porsche Zentrum Cologne (Germany, where I used to live until a couple of years ago) nor the Porsche dealer in Modena (Italy) are able to solve. Almost everytime I push the clutch pedal, there is a noise coming from some bushes/bearings of the pedal itself. It's something you can clearly hear in the cabin, quite embarrasing. In Modena they tried to grease it with something, it worked for two weeks only. On some German forum seems to be a recurring problem for Carrera 997 and Boxster/Cayman, but I couldn't find (or understand...) the solution. Anybody can help me?
Ciao

I believe it can be the clutch fork or its mechanism - even though the sound appears to come the other end of the car.

I had this on my Cayman S. It was like a creaking noise as you pressed the pedal, and happened at the top and bottom of the pedal travel. In my case it was the assister spring making the noise. Not hugely expensive, but a PITA to change.

I had this issue on mine and it drove me crazy. The OPC couldn't fix it.
