Bought a Fabspeed Supercup exhaust for my 993 around 3 months from EBay.

When it arrived it was missing the brackets that hold the exhaust on to the car (seller no longer had them).

Despite literally dozens and dozens of emails to Alex at Fabspeed in the USA they still haven't sent me a set. Alex has repeatedly told me that they would be dispatched in the next 2-3 days but still nothing has arrived (I first was told this on 11th March).

Does anyone know what other options I have?

Many thanks
Ben

Put this post on rennlist and/or 6speedonline, and you might achieve two things:
Someone has the brackets and can sell them to you.
Fabspeed will ship quickly due to bad publicity on the important (for Fabspeed) american forums.

Hmmmm I was thinking of buying this exhaust for my 993 and getting it shipped via a friend over from the States. Not so sure I;ll bother if customer service is this bad.

I had heard you can buy it in the UK but unsure where. But I bet it aint at the $800.00 you can get it from the States for though.

Finally I have read that Fabspeed may not be fully upfront with where some of their kit is made. They say alot about building in the US. However your problems with supply, may well be because they are waiting for a ship from Taiwan first. wink Could be wrong though.

Most, if not all, Fabspeed stuff is made by JIM in Taiwan, the same company that makes Porsche exhausts for other vendors.

Kidhaa and I have had superb service from Fabspeed (based in Pennsylvania US).

Our 997 GT3 RS center bypasses were built and shipped to the UK within 2/3 weeks from ordering as per his words.
Saved quite a few bucks from buying in Europe rather and VAT turned out to be super cheap (Fabspeed quoted a low value on the package). It costs us £900 per piece all inclusive delivered at home.

I think you should contact Jeff - he is super responsive and quick to get back to you
