GT3 RSR ......just curious really....
Discussion
The RSR now runs 12jx18 front rims and 14jx18 rears. Tyres are 27/68-18 and 31/71-18. These measure up at about 315mm front and 350mm rear in road tyre equivelant. Sidewalls are super tall both front and rear.
ACO regs specify an 18" wheel has to be used in GTE so everything running in this class has 18" rims incl the RSR.

Hopeless information Neil, you've not provided the ET numbers for the wheels . . . . ACO regs specify an 18" wheel has to be used in GTE so everything running in this class has 18" rims incl the RSR.

Haha. Well one doesn't like to appear too keen.......... Plus I'm operating off of my memory banks and I've no actual idea what offset is

The 11" fronts are ET 35

Why do slicks/race tyres come in daft sizes? What's wrong with 295/35/19 or 255/35/18 etc? There must be an actual reason...?
Its actually easier to follow, once you get familiar with it.For example:
27/68/18 = 270mm tread width, 680mm diameter
31/71/18 = 310mm tread width, 710mm diameter
Its saves lots of farking about working out tyre diameters if you fancy different rubber, rather than trying to work it out from profile %

Proof, if proof was needed, that 20" wheels are plain stupid.

If you need 20" wheels to accommodate your brakes then you're probably in a dragster.
Pointless.
Incidentally the e92 M3 looks Motorsport-wonderful on BMW's 18 inchers. The 19s look horribly blingy to my eyes.

Well, no really. Dragster brakes are not overly large as I understand it - nothing like enough to mandate big wheels. Thus by 'dragster' I assume that you mean a too-heavy road car with too much power.....
