Brakes Shuddering (Vibrating) when braking
Discussion
Hello All, I am new to this site but have a questions that I hope someone can assist with.
I own a 1994 993 Carerra 2 and recently I have been experiencing some severe shuddering or vibrations in the steering wheel when I apply the brakes.
This seems to happen more so when I am on braking downhill or on a decline and when speed is at 40-50mph.
can anyone offer some assistance on what may be causing this problem? I have been told that it could be warped rotors, wishbone arm bushes or whell bearings.
My 911 is going into the shop in two days and if I can put it in knowing all possibilities of the problem, I will sleep better.
Thanks to all

I would very much say that the discs are warped,
this can usually be overcome by having them skimmed.
This process just scrapes a thin layer from the disc to leave an even surface on the disc again. It is relatively inexpensive, but is only recommended if the discs have a fair bit of meet on them in the 1st place, and if they haven't already been done before.
If the juddering is more speciic from downhill braking, then i think it may be a shock absorber problem.
