Rear Centre reflector panel.. 964

Guys,

Am going mad trying to get hold of one of these.. the US seems the only place that has them right now but very expensive with Postage and customs charges.

If anyone has a second hand one, even badly faded.. please let me know.

Yep! Even in the US it seems they might have run out.. Pelican parts don't have any, am trying an official Porsche Dealer in Charlotte (NC) as I will be there in June. They told me there are no more in stock in the US but are hunting around and will let me know tomorrow.

Defintely on backorder with Q4 delivery dates....got a couple of projects that we need them for. One of our customers has sent us a film or something that you can put on to the existing one that is suppose to work wonders - will report back on before and after how this works.

Ooops - didn't notice that. Have tried Porsch-apart or other specialist scrappies?

Be VERY careful about being seduced by US suppliers of this part - primarily because the US part does not have the rear fog lights, nor the contacts for them, so will be illegal for use in the UK.

Only one problem with that film, it makes your indicators illegal by turning them red

You cant just put it on the centre reflector as it would look extremely odd.

I've seen a car done, looks pretty good

Apparently it can be modified very easily to overcome this issue..

Just had confirmation from the USA that they seem to have run out there too. The official Porsche dealer I contacted says he tried everywhere but no luck. They are now on back order like the EU. I give up and am going to wait till Autumn when hopefully we will have them.

If you're interested, I know of a full set for sale.

They're off a UK 1990 car and comprises the light clusters and central reflector panel. They have faded but not sure how much, and I'm aware they're for sale as a job lot so not on an individual basis.
